Seriously, won't they feel awfully stupid when the Doctor is in the Oval Office this time next year? Oh well... fine by me! :D http://www.bushvotersfordean.com

even loyal Republican voters and independants who backed bush are now pissed, while the RNC is fretting and clueless about this growing rage against incumbents.

4. This is fabulous news. |

If these freepers actually start wearing the T=-Shirts and sweat shirts they're selling on that site it will only improe Dean's name recognition, and I have a feeling a lot of people will take the slogan at face value and assume it means that a former Bush voter is NOW voting for Dean.
OR...
Maybe this is a diabolical plan hatched by the Dean campaign to parasitize the freepers to propigate Dean memes. Can you think of a better use for otherwise useless freepers? Put them to work doing something they are too dumb to realize they are doing! Kind of like inserting DNA into a virus and using that virus to transport the good DNA into the host cells. In this case the freepers are the virus that is carrying the Dean message into the population.

Interesting notion.
Could also be a trick from some other campaign (Gephardt?) to try and discredit Dean as unwinnable?

You seem to think that Kerry's running a slam-dunk campaign when everyone else sees just the opposite. It IS opposite day isn't it? :-)

How'd I get that silly idea?
How about, I won't say what I think you think, I'll stick to saying what I think.
Could you please extend the same courtesy to me?

9. if by "months," you mean 2 months.. |
|
Then you're right, but it's no longer August, and John no longer has 6 months to turn things around.
Speaking of..... didn't Kerry's campaign promise to "Crush Howard Dean" around Labor Day? Did they mean Labor Day 2004?

Why do you find it necessary to make stuff up about Kerry? All the campaigns 'promise' to win... lol. Why do you see it as such a threat?

11. I wasn't making anything up about Kerry |
|
Dig through the old posts, there was plenty of talk about a promise to crush Dean by Labor Day from the Kerry camp. It (obviously) never materialised, and as far as I know, no attempt was even made, even though Kerry had "damning" information.

18. Never heard the term (1)"He's pacing himself" here at DU? |
|
(2)"He's a long-distance biker." (3)"Debate champion at Yale." (4)"Crushed by Labor Day."
All I know is that I don't hear these anymore.
Translations:
(1)He's saving his energy in order to use his famous "kick" to lay the opposition bare. (2)He's saving his energy in order to use his famous "kick" to lay the opposition bare. (3)His debating skills are so superior that he'll use his famous debater's "kick" to lay the opposition bare. (4)Dean will be "Crushed by Labor Day."

19. Whatever. You started out by saying the Kerry campaign said something |
|
Edited on Mon Nov-17-03 11:17 PM by Feanorcurufinwe
Now you are saying that posters at DU said other, different things.
You are also actually attacking people just because they are enthusiastic about their candidate. I'm not about to defend anything other than what I've said but it just seems you are getting wound up about the wrong stuff. Lighten up!

What Kerry was saying, was that he was going to announce and START campaigning after Labor Day. Which is what he did. lol

I'd be nervous if Dr Dean was in the Oval Office this time next year. It's a little early to be that far into transition, so I'd be worried he had sold out and was conspiring with the current despots to continue the destruction of the Republic.
Given that whoever wins the Presidency can't officially take office till Jan 20 2005, I can only say, wasn't this a really badly written original post?

23. By George, you're right! Anyway, if Bush voters see the error of |
|
their ways and vote for a Dem, what's wrong with that? What's wrong with people who voted for Bush wanting people to know that they'll vote Dem next year? I've had some Bush voters tell me they wouldn't vote for him again.
