Poll question: Will you support the eventual nominee, even if it isn't your candidate? |

4. Depends on the platform |
|
If we walk away from everything we've ever stood for, I'll seriously consider switching to a third party of some sort.

5. Aren't platforms kind of meaningless? |
|
I would think the nominee's stand on the issues is more important.

I would support any diehard candidates like Kerry, Dean, Clark, Kucinich, probably Gephardt and Edwards with a little bit of trepedation, but I don't know about Lieberman. I don't think I would be pulling all the punches for him.

7. Probably at least vote for him (or her) |
|
I've been a democrat ever since I was old enough to vote, so even Joe Lieberman couldn't change that. If the Democrats change a whole bunch between now and then, though...

I could really be a rabid Kerry supporter. I am certainly proud of how articulate the man is and he really has quite an impressive record to tout. I would love to see him debate Dubya. I think I would actually feel sorry for the little Bush if Kerry gets the chance to trounce him. Remember how pathetic Bush the Elder was in the final month of his campaign? He looked like hell.
I could be a passionate supporter of Kucinich. I would have a blast dabbling in idealism. I think that Dubya would look simply evil in the face of a Kucinich campaign.
Edwards would be a nice fresh candidate to put against the GOP machine that is powered by the rotting ghouls of Nixon, Reagan and Bush administrations. He has appeal, integrity and a legit success story that would appeal to a wide spectrum of Dems.
I would work my ass off for Carol Mosley-Braun. I would love to see a black woman in the White House, and CMB would be a great president.
I don't think anyone could argue that supporting Al Sharpton would be the most fun any of us could have going into the general election.
Clark would bring out the militant supporter in me, and it sure would be fun (although not as much fun as with Kerry) putting a military man in Bush's face.
Gephardt has fought the good fight most of the time. I could work up enough enthusiasm.
Lieberman...uh..he..well...I like his older stuff. His first album was good.
