My Meetup group distributed 4,500 flyers for Dean this weekend

I wasn't able to be there with them (we had a health crisis in my family that seems to be getting better, fortunately), but members of the Meetup I co-coordinate distributed 4500 flyers for Dean over the weekend. They distributed these at a pretty big local event, the Waterfowl Festival, that attracts people from all over the mid-Atlantic region.

Apparently, the Dean group also took visiting Republican politicans Rich Colburn and Ken Schisler by surprise (we're in a fairly Republican area of Maryland and the local GOP isn't used to seeing things like this from Democrats here).

The group also got lots of positive comments from people and even bumped into Dean supporters from New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Most of the weekend was pretty nice, weather-wise too. I'm sorry I missed this, but I'm glad others in my group were able to get out there.

I gave blood for Dean Saturday. We had about 10 of us there.
