East LA Campaign Office Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting To Follow

For Immediate Release: Nov. 12, 2003

What: On Stage Dialogue followed by Office Opening Ribbon Cutting .

When: Sunday November 23rd, Dialogue: 12:00 noon; Ribbon Cutting: 2:00 p.m. (changed from 2:30)

Where: Dialogue: Griffith Middle School, 4765 E. 4th Street, East LA, corner of Mednick and 4th, about six blocks west of Atlantic Blvd. Ribbon Cutting: 3617 Cesar Chavez. Cross street is Rowan.

Danny Glover and Hector Elizondo and Shelly Morrison will engage in a Unity Forum with Presidential Candidate Dennis Kucinich in East Los Angeles on Sunday November 23rd at Griffith Middle School. Danny Glover is a noted movie star, film producer, and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador. Hector Elizondo is a Tony and Golden Globe winner and a well known star of stage, television, and film, as well as a political activist. Shelley Morrison has had a long acting career and currently plays “Rosario” and the television hit “Will & Grace.”

Congressman Kucinich, Glover, and Elizondo will each briefly address the crowd before beginning a discussion. Actor and Director Tony Plana will moderate. Subsequent to the dialogue, Kucinich will answer audience questions.


Following the presentation at the school, Kucinich and campaign volunteers will caravan to the new Kucinich for President East LA Office for a Grand Opening ribbon-cutting ceremony.

1. cool genius, I dont live in CA but this is good
I also just got off the phone with HQ, being young I dont have much money but I did just pledged 25$. Plus hes gonna be nearby soon, and I am gonna ask if I can go. Not sure if I can, but hey there in ies the good part about having democratic parents, dad is a Kucitizen thanks to me and Dennis himself who we both met, my mom likes what she hears and isnt official but shes more moderate than most yet likes him so those of you who think we're all radical leftists you are wrong, my mom and dad are rank and file dems for DK pretty much.
