Based on Lieberman's behavior last night..
Do you think he should fold up camp and go away and be a Senator for the next two years?

1. He's got three more years on his term...
...he ran for Senator along with VP in 2000--it was a big deal because the Dems wanted him not to run, assuming Gore would win (which he did, but that's another story) so that filty Repuke whore of a Governor couldn't appoint some child molester when Holy Joe took office.

That said, YES, GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Even the semi-blind DNC has seen the light
on Lieberman. There are others who are cluttering the field, but Joe needs to go now!

3. I agree with the first two of your suggestions....
Losing Lieberman would be a terrible blow to the republican party AND the Likud.

5. Me too.
Lieberman ought to be on a Green Party recruiting poster.

4. This CT citizen wishes Lieberman would drop out
but he'll linger on because he suffers from delusions of grandeur.

I think he'll try to hold on as long as March 2, which is the date of the Connectcut primary, but the most recent Quinnipiac poll shows Dean gaining on Lieberman in the Nutmeg state. Dean rose from 17% in Oct to 23% in Nov and Lieberman dropped from 33% (Oct) to 28%(Nov).

We CT 4 Dean-ocrats are working hard to win CT for Dean.

6. I Think Lieberman Is Doing Great Damage to the Party

Lieberman's views are nothing more than Bush-lite. His constant attacks on the front-runners are divisive, unproductive and make him look like a putz. His unflagging support of the fascist Sharon regime only exacerbate the problems in the Middle East and fan the flames of militant Islamic fundamentalists.

This jerk needs to be booted out of the Democratic Party!

8. I've Noticed A Trend, HawkeyeX
For some reason, you want all of Dean's opponents to fold up their tents.

Personally, I think that anyone who has no chance in any major state should be excluded from the debates, but they shoud be allowed to campaign as much as they want. Or at least, for God's sake, break the debates up into two one-hour debates, one right after the other.

Everyone knows that Kerry would trounce any and all of the candidates in a real debate, not a cattle call.

10. Well, I don't want ALL to close up their tents
Lieberman IS hanging on by his name recognition factor. Once they learn what kind of person Lieberman really is, then no-one would be interested in voting for this guy. I'm Jewish, and I respect Lieberman on some issues, but he's harming Israel by voting Bush-lite, in my opinion. There has to be a different way to resolve the I/P issue, and that includes statehood for Palestine, but it'll be a small one though.

Kerry seems to think he's "anointed" the nomination because he once was a frontrunner because he decided to run after Gore decided not to run again. The answer is so wrong, I can't even say anymore. His IWR vote and his non-vote on Medicare was a big turnoff for me. Although I do have Medicare, but fortunately I don't use it because I do have other insurance supplied by my school (it's not very effective either - no RX benefits, and they're already refusing to pay for the eye exams, when it's already covered), and I'm disappointed with Kerry in a lot of issues, and he seems to have a charisma of a toad. I had to keep changing the channel yesterday when I saw Kerry on TV -- he doesn't appeal to me at all, ESPECIALLY when I was trying to watch Hardball. He isn't what he's supposed to be, and that's just my opinion. There are a lot of problems, especially with the stated issues that I hold dear, plus I do have problems with his S&B connections with *, which makes him a easy candidate for * to "coast through" because he won't put up much of a fight with *.

I have no problems with Kucinich, because I feel that he brings the right ideas for the party to adopt and tune to the same messages that we need. I'm a socialist at heart, but I do know that he's progressive and very lefty which will turn off most people.

I'll say this. I'm a pragmatist, and I want the best possible out of nine candidates in this. I have researched ALL of the candidates including Clark after his late entry, and I have stuck with Dean because he's very consistent, and stays on the message, and I truly believe that he will deliver what he wants to deliver. I want my country back, and Dean is my answer to defeating Chimpy McFlightsuit. Granted, he's not perfect, but the key thing is that he has the ability to stay on the message. I know he's a centrist, and I have no problems with that. Clinton was a centrist, and I voted for him -- twice, because there was a need to change America to get out of the mess that Poppy and Raygun made. He did the job too.

Dean can do the job. That's why I believe a governor with experience, regardless if it's a state of 600,000 plus people or a state with 13.5M people, I just believe that compared with Gov. Bush and Gov. Dean -- I'll take Gov. Dean anytime -- because he has provided Vermont exactly what they needed. Balanced budget? Yes. Universal health care. Yes - up to 96% of Vermonters were covered, with an additional 3% eligible for coverage. Does Dean have foreign policy experience? Yes. He has travelled 50+ countries, and has an excellent relationship with Canada. Did he support NAFTA? Yes, he recognizes there are problems with it, and he wants to correct that problem and make changes to help create TONS of American jobs. Does he recognize the problem with education? Yes, he does, and he will restart the Head Start -- he has done an outstanding job for Vermonters. He recognizes the need for high standards, progressive assessment, and certainly accountability for schools.

As you can see, most of those is why I have picked Dean.

I may not agree with the other issues, but I know Dean has listened to the people, and that's why we call Dean's campaign people-powered, and he has shown that he does care.

Show me that Kerry can do the same. Provide proof. Cite links. I know that we've asked Kerry fans to cite links and provide proof, and a failure to do so shows that the Kerry fans are blind on the issues that we truly care about.

One other thing, before I sum the whole thing up -- Dean has shown that he's unifying EVERYWHERE - he's getting support from the South, the African-Americans, Asians, Hispanic, and other minorities -- that shows that Dean has the capability to really reach those who have been disenfranchised for years. I know that Dean has also reached out to the disabled like myself -- and that's another reason I've chosen Dean.

What does Kerry do for the disabled? I'd like to do know. What is Kerry's plans to deal with the disabled issues such as accessibility, strengthening the ADA law, and providing truly equal opportunity for jobs.

In summary, I am not advocating that all of the presidential nominees should close up tents and go away. Only I am disappointed in Kerry, Lieberman, Edwards and Gephardt. Washington insiders do not win elections, and hasn't since JFK. My point is that you may think Dean has some "inside" connections, but really he hasn't been a Senator or a Congressman -- he's been a physician and a Governor with the true knowledge of how a state should work, and Dean is tuning his messages from state to federal level.

Thank you.

(Now I've got carpal tunnel pains)

Hawkeye-X
