DC: Dean has lead for primary/ Bush approval is 6%
Edited on Wed Nov-26-03 10:04 AM by CMT
Good old District of Columbia.

Bush has a disapproval rating of 86% and an approval rating of only 6%

Mayor Anthony Williams has an approval rating of 45/41

DC has a January primary--who do you favor for nomination?

Dean: 27%
Clark: 11%
Gephardt 7%
Liberman 5%
Shapton 5%
Kerry 4%
Braun 4%
Edwards 1%
Kucinich 1%
Undecided 33%

Not all the candidates will be on the ballot for the January primary of these candidates who do you favor?

Dean: 45%
Sharpton 11%
Braun 8%
Kucinich 4%
Undecided 33%

the other interesting thing is DC is majority African-American and Dean's leading in both polls (with all the candidates listed, and then the ones who will be on ballot) seem to indicate that he does have support in the black community.

2. Does DC have any electoral votes?
I know the stink about no senators or reps, but what part does DC play in the general election?

4. DC is solidly democratic
and always votes for the Dem candidate for president--even McGovern and Mondale. It has three electoral votes.

IMO, DC should have statehood.
