Queens (NY) Democratic organization Endorses Howard Dean

Queens (NY) Democratic organization Endorses Howard Dean
Citing Howard Dean's grassroots support and increasing momentum, the Queens County Democratic Organization gave it's backing to the former Vermont Governor. The endorsement is "considered key in NY political circles."

The Queens Democratic Party made the endorsemnt without a formal vote because the support for Dean was so strong. Of 19 State Assembly members from Queens 15 supported Dean. As did 4 out of 7 state senators and 12 out of 13 Democratic city council members representing Queens.
