Endorsement: MA State Senator Brian A. Joyce for Clark
Edited on Tue Dec-02-03 10:21 PM by Jerseycoa
Massachusetts State Senator Brian Joyce today announced his endorsement of General Wesley Clark in the Democratic Presidential primary. He will campaign with him in Manchester, NH, on Tuesday, December 2.

"I am proud to announce my support for General Wesley Clark for President. We need his leadership to put America on the right track," said Senator Joyce. "General Clark will restore the honor and respect that America has lost around the world. He is the only candidate with the national security background to take on President Bush's reckless foreign policy. Unlike the current Administration, General Clark has a success strategy for Iraq and a plan to go after Al Qaeda."

"General Clark's domestic agenda demonstrates leadership and vision. His plan to make health care affordable and accessible for all Americans - and cover all children through the age of 22 - is both innovative and workable. Clark is also committed to sustainable economic growth by creating jobs and cutting the deficit and to protecting our environment," continued Joyce.

"General Clark is the Democrat with the best chance to beat George Bush. He is the right man at the right time, with the right priorities. He believes in America, and that's why I believe in him," Joyce concluded.

Senator Brian A. Joyce is serving his fourth term in the Senate, representing the Norfolk, Bristol and Plymouth district, which includes Avon, Braintree, Canton, East Bridgewater, Easton, Milton, Randolph, Sharon, Stoughton, and West Bridgewater. While focusing much of his efforts in the areas of education, senior issues and ensuring that state government is fiscally prudent with the taxpayer's money, Senator Joyce's priorities include preserving the environment, job creation, and public safety.
