Lieberman senior strategist declares Kerry's campaign D.O.A.
Two polls released this week showed Dean at least 30 percentage points ahead of Kerry among likely voters in the state's Jan. 27 primary. But the Massachusetts senator said he is on an upswing since relaunching his campaign last month and has picked up converts from other campaigns.

However, a senior strategist for rival Joe Lieberman doubted Kerry will be able to turn around his campaign. Mandy Grunwald and two other Lieberman officials told reporters in a conference call on Friday that the Connecticut senator was holding his support in states with primaries after Iowa and New Hampshire even as Kerry and others appeared to be losing ground.

"I don't believe in writing people's obituaries, but I don't see any signs that he's going anywhere,'' Grunwald said of Kerry. "He's been on a steady downward trajectory. I don't see any signs that it's going to be reversed.''

2. Why don't you guys relax
and wait for the fire-works - the convention is not until July - 7 and one half months away. That's a lifetime in politics.

4. Come on!
Certainly I'm not the only one who finds it somewhat ironic that out of all the senior strategists working on a campaign right now, it has to be one on the Lieberman campaign saying these ridiculous things about Kerry!
