Rush just got clobbered on his own show...
Just caught the tail-end of a conversation with a caller who was discussing the Tort-reform issue, and the caller was taking him to task and calling him on his hypocrisy. The caller specifically asked Rush if he had ever sued anyone. Rush just got all flustered and basically refused to answer the question. Finally, he replied "I can't recall". The caller then called him a liar. Ha,ha! How can that idiot not recall whether he had sued anyone in the past or not? It was brilliant!

2. "Cant recall?" Must be the drugs.
I would think one remember suing somone in court- but heavy narcotics abuse does tend to wear on the memory.

He was just taking a page out of Reagan's Iran/Contra playbook. He has had The Gipper on the mind, after all.

5. he's done it at least once, in 1995:
http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/content/news/limbaugh/011304_limbaugh.html

-snip-

In 1995, Limbaugh and the ACLU squared off in federal court when a radio network wanted to run a parody of Limbaugh's program called After the Rush. Limbaugh's producers sued for $15 million to keep the show from using "Rush" in the title. The ACLU sided with the network, claiming it was a free speech issue. Limbaugh's lawsuit was dismissed.

6. Great find, Arcane
that's what the caller was saying too. He basically told Rush he could prove he's a liar. It was priceless. Finally Rush basically went off on the guy by changing the subject to general government spending and then went to commercial. All these guys who bitch about so-called "frivolous" lawsuits don't hesitate for one moment to sue someone if they can benefit from it financially. They're all hypocrites, but we knew that about Limbaugh already. :)
