the guy that does sports(forgive me,i dont know his name) was talking about going to see f-911 last night and was really blasting bush, calling him a murderer.then he went on to call larry king a wimp because he said he cancelled a interview with michael moore because of protest FROM THE WHITE HOUSE!.has anyone else heard this?

his rhetoric on the show is against Rummy and Wolfman and for some odd reason he likes Ashcroft.? go figure

Imus hates Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolowitz, and asscroft. He calls them idiots and war criminals almost every day. Charles is the one who likes asscroft, not Imus. Charles went to school with asscroft in Missouri. I watch Imus quite a bit because I sleep odd hours and nothing much else is on.

Imus, Bernie, Charles, and Lou, are all republicans. There is no doubt about that, but Imus does tell the truth about Bush and his gang of war criminals once in a while.

BTW, he says he will vote for Kerry, I doubt it. It's all a con game, he will vote for Bush when it comes down to it. That is my opinion.

Imus says he supports Kerry, then has has Charles write terrible things about Kerry and edwards. Then they have one of the staff members named Larry Kenny read it while doing an impression of Jack Nickolson. Then he tells Charles that was too harsh, when he had Charles write it in the 1st place, and he approved it before it was put on the air.

Imus plays both sides of the fence, but he is a true blue republican, just like everyone else on the show. He does hammer Bush and Cheney etc. He calls Cheney pork chop boy, he says Rumsfeld and all the neocons are nuts, he hammers them pretty good. He is not like O'Reilly, Hannity, etc. who will never say anything bad about a republican.

He also has his share of right-wing idiots on the show, and he lets them spew out spin and lies with no questioning them. He let Hatch do it yesterday, and one of his good friends is J.D. Hayworth, the far right congressman nut.

Imus is not fair and balanced, but he does let some liberals get their message out. I would say his show is 75% right-wing, and 25% left-wing. Which is better than O'Reilly, Hannity, etc. who are 95% right-wing.

P.S. The moron who does sports is Sid Rosenburg. He replaced Patrick McEnroe. Before that it was Mike Breen.

9. DeepModem, and Stewert I see now. I was wondering

why I had such mixed feelings about his show. I watch it b/c there is nothing else on either. Charles I find to be the worst. Everytime he kisses ass to Imus I get sick. I turn it off. I can't stand kiss ass people, then I guess most of them on his show are.

Sid was being sarcastic, he is a republican who will vote for Bush. He did see the F911 movie, but he was being sarcastic when he said that stuff about F911 and Bush being a murderer etc. Everyone that works on Imus in the morning is a republican.

I think you are correct, Sid talked about 911 again and he seemed serious. The 1st time he mentioned it he seemed to be sarcastic. I now think he is serious, and I think you were right.

7. New poll shows only 8% have seen F911, but 46% ? say they plan to see

it. The poll ran on the running news at either CNN or MSNBC during the night. I have had no luck finding the details of the poll so the 46% may be off a point or two but this indicates the potential for a huge number of Americans to see this movie before the election. Very likely that WH is using strong arm tactics to pressure media to discredit MM and deprive him of opportunities to defend himself and further promote the movie. I hope F911 comes out on DVD or pay per view before election.

I occasionally listen to Imus and have never cared for him but to his credit he called Mrs. Edwards brilliant on Monday and praised the Kerry/Edwards appearance on 60 minutes. I didn't pick up much sarcasm or snarking, it seemed to be overwhelmingly positive remarks from him.

When I was in college, we had a film society that showed films in a lecture hall. For example, they selected "Bedtime for Bonzo" during the 1980 campaign. This was in Indiana, too.

10. When I wear my Kerry T-shirt, college age store clerks ask me about F911

to find out if I have seen it and how it compares to Bowling for Columbine which has been showing frequently on cable TV recently. There is tremendous interest (and I know they're not just hitting on me, unless they like older women since I look more like Elizabeth Edwards than Cate Edwards!)

13. Imus - Sports guy Sid

The idiot that does the sports for Imus.....Sid.... is a first cousin to the one that was elected after the death of Wellstone.
He was a real creap, with an annoying Brooklyn accent, that continually attacked Wellstone and his supporters even after Wellstone's memorial. Sid apparently has never left the area in which he was born yet he had no problem citing the problems with Wellstone.
Imus' spin on his support for Kerry/Edwards is about as believable as his support was for John McCain. Imus was a two-bit, alcholic/dope fiend aka huckster that has risen to the glorious heights of top huckester and he will follow the bucks.
