Whatever happened to the porn that Faux showed
in their coverage (uncoverage???) of porn sites? Was that just a photoshopped image being shipped around, and I fell sucker to it, or did that disgusting screen shot actually air?

If it DID hit the air, why is there not an uproar over it??? I mean, there was a lot more to see there than Janet Jackson's boobie, and that almost started a civil war... well, certainly a war on our civil liberties! :(

1. I downloaded the video....It was legit

I went back to find the link to the vid, but it downloaded with a "missing codec", and doesn't play.

Only the screen capture seems to be currently available.

2. OK, so if it truly aired,
SOMEBODY must have it stored, and it seems to me that Faux should pony up the 500 billion dollar (or however much it currently is) penalty for showing porn on the air. Where is their sense of decency, after all? (OK, I know that question was a joke, please laugh with me... :D ) If Janet Jackson (or CBS) and Howard Stern have to pay up, why shouldn't Faux?????

I find it unbelievable that this is just sliding by without notice!

3. I agree
I have the mov clip...I'm sure some website still has it too.
I don't know why I can't find it (I searched everywhere, I think).

Why didn't Fox get noticed for this ? They must know someone in the WH or FCC.

Though a half million dollar fine may be overkill, (as it was for CBS) perhaps they should have been put on "probation" to encourage their copy editors to stay on their toes in the future.

This kind of "slip" IS preventable with responsible journalism and sweeps week is no excuse.

4. If they didn't hold themselves up as
'holier than thou,' I wouldn't feel so strongly about it. But they scream and bitch and cry about how Janet Jackson has destroyed our airwaves and our families (Oh, no wait, that's gay marriage) - and then they get away with airing something that is much more pornographic than a breast with a nipple ring on it, without so much as a flutter of interest from anyone?

You said, They must know someone in the WH or FCC.

Well, have you seen "Outfoxed," yet???
