My new favorite Daily Show segment: "Great Moments in Punditry... |
|
...As Read By Children"
All the stirring content of the original shows, but with cute little kids reading the lines. They really take the material to the level at which it's meant to be understood. It's like when a cover band makes the song better than the original, except the cover band is made up of 7-year-olds. Tonight's bit with Hannity & Colmes "interviewing" Fenn and Coulter was definitive.

Colbert's this week in god is still my favorite though.
"In related news Jesus has just quit." I laughed my ass off at that one.

2. Another Great Segment: 'Back in Black' |
|
Lewis Black's curmudgeonly take on current events is an excellent, over-the-top exposé of RW hypocrisy. Granted, Stephen Colbert is a great 'straight man,' an outstanding foil for Jon Stewart's unabashed wise-assery, but I identify more with Black's delivery - being a disgruntled old fart myself.

Lewis Black expresses my voiceless inner curmudgeon. His extended stand-up act is funny too, and occasionally, when the stars align and a white calf is born of a bull, Comedy Central airs half an hour of it.

4. I saw that episode of Hannity and Colmes |

Hannity and Coulter ar human mosquitoes. I'm pretty sympathetic to right wing viewpoints (I was before the election anyway) and I can't watch that show for five minutes. They need to be voted off the island those two
