Saw Joe Wilson on CNBC last night

And I think the white house has a serious problem on their hands.

a) He was a Bush/Cheney supporter in 2000. He gave $2000 to their campaign (it sounded as if he never once voted for Clinton).

b) He was Bush Sr.'s ambassador to Iraq during the first Gulf war.

c) Wow is he smart and articulate. The talking heads tried to bait him, but he more than rose to the challenge.

d) And his main point is (paraphrased), "This story isn't about Joe Wilson. Joe Wilson didn't leak information to the press about a CIA operative."

Currently the RNC is trying to make hay out of the fact that he is a contributer to the Kerry campaign. But if your president's people just endangered your wife's life, I think you'd be looking for another party too.

maybe he's just nonpartisan. I didn't realize he gave money to Bush/Cheney in 2000. Wow.
