"Terrorist" Cat Stevens Eats Rupert Murdoch's Lunch

On February 15, 2005, the BBC reported that Yusuf Islam, also known as Cat Stevens, the London Sun, and the London Sunday Times (both owned by Fox News's parent company, News Corp.), reached agreement over a libel suit Islam filed against both newspapers:

Singer Islam gets libel damages

The singer was barred entry to the US last September
Yusuf Islam, the singer formerly known as Cat Stevens, has won substantial damages from two UK newspapers which falsely claimed he supported terrorism.

The Sun and Sunday Times also published apologies after they made the false allegations in two articles in October.

Too bad it won't bankrupt the privatized propaganda ministry.

I certainly hope our government will revisit the decision to bar him from the country.
