I am still stunned that they replaced Unfiltered with Jerry Springer on AAR.
:wow:

2. I really enjoy the Springer radio show. |
|
He brings much more depth to the issues. I like Unfiltered but it was too light hearted....inside jokes and culture not necessarily something the average bear could catch onto without processing.

4. For what it's worth I agree with Liberalnurse |

I think he is pretty entertaining. Do you dislike him, his tv persona, or is it a result of loyalty to Unfiltered? I hated they ditched unfiltered, too.

5. Unfiltered was bland, and Chuck D never even showed up. |

Lizz was the FUNNIEST personality on AAR but Unfiltered was a poor vehicle for her.
Anyway, Spinger is brilliant.

although I will say that Springer has one endearing quality--he'll admit when he doesn't have an answer.

7. He bores me -- but he could change that |
|
Springer is good when he's interacting with people, and allowing his sense of humor out. On his own he tends to be didactic and boring. Maybe he's trying too hard to be takenm serious, I dunno.
When he started his local show, he had a couple of sidekicks. Their banter lightened things up, and added some needed humor and entertainment value. He was still serious, but much easier to take.
I think if he opened it up and lightened up a bit it would enhance, rather than detract from, the serious side.
BTW I thought Unfiltered was great. I wish they'd found a way to keep it.

He so much better at that than just going alone.
