Randi's full show on XM 167 starting 9/1

Not sure if this was previously posted:

I guess XM will start airing Randi's Rhodes entire show next month. They do not say what they will do with Ed Schultz. I would like to see Ed's show moved to another channel. XM is still heavily biased towards right wing talk despite having Air America on 167. Now if they would just move Alan Colmes to another channel and add Malloy live.

3. I just cancelled Sirius, yesterday
frankly, right now they are both xm and sirius are both biased in my view toward right wing talk, but when sirius replaced stream 144 with Korean radio, that did it for me. When I called to cancel they didn't seem concerned with retention of customers leaving because of AAR, and gave no indication what the future of progressive talk would be on Sirius.

I signed up with XM today.

We will see how the fall schedule looks, but for right now I will stay with XM because of AAR.

Rumor has it that Stern will start early in September

5. Even the "left" shows on Sirius are conservative.
They have these hosts who seem to be Puke moles, trying to inject their slime into the ears of liberals. Feh.

:wtf:

4. Yeah! I may turn on my XM again!
I got so sick of Schultz; just barely a Dem and more interested in sports and fishing than politics. Randi is a genius and she does her homework. Ed just wings it, and is less informed than many of his listeners.

And yes, Malloy live would be great, as would Thom Hartman, Stephanie Miller, or Lynn Cullen (brilliant and emotional, WPTT in Pittsburgh). They could dump Springer and Franken.

6. Ed Schultz will move to XM-165 on September 1
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 01:15 PM by Hokie
According to a post on an XM Radio blog Ed Schultz will move to Ask Channel 165 and replace Dr. Laura. I think progressive radio must be finding an audience. Bye bye Dr. Laura.

9. A little untrue there.
Laura's moving from Ask - XM 165 to America Right - 166.

She's staying on, just moving to the true conservative station.

8. Letter writing seems to work
I've been sending XM emails asking about why XM didn't carry the entire AAR lineup. It seems to have helped.

Here's my dilemma...

I currently have both Sirius and XM. I'm not sure the music channels alone on Sirius and Sirus Left warrant a renewal. I have a relative who works for Sirius and have a bit of an allegiance. If I thought they'd bring more liberal talent on board I'd keep it.

XM just scored some points with me. Not sure about Sirius.
