Limbaugh and his contractors...
"The cash in question here - most of it had to do a two-and-a-half year remodel we did to the home in Palm Beach," he said. Limbaugh also applied some of the cash to everyday expenses like food, travel and gratuities. (From the dark side: <http://209.157.64.200/focus/f-news/1025007/posts>

Now, “everyday expenses” should not be that great an amount to a man and wife with no children. But what struck me in this quote from Rushie is that he admits that he was paying his contractors tens of thousands of dollars in CASH! Why?

I don’t think that’s the truth. But if it is, the only reason I can think of is that the contractors would have asked for it, because without a paper trail – THEY AVOID PAYING TAXES! (a ‘veddy republican thing to do.) In fact, some contractors give lower job quotes in exchange for being paid in cash. If Rushie is being honest (hey, stop that snickering!), then he is an accomplice to tax evasion, and so are his contractors.

The state and federal government should issue search warrants and get grand jury subpoenas on those contractors to determine if they avoided paying taxes (who do they think they are, drug and energy companies?). Haul them, their accountants, and their lawyers in front of prosecutors to explain to them the finer points of the law regarding tax evasion and prison terms, and let’s just see if they admit Rush paid them thousands of dollars in cash.

It worked before. Remember Al Capone?

1. the difference
between Al Capone & Rush is that the Feds wanted dirt on Capone, and with Rush, they don't want to know the dirt.

4. He had the misfortune of choosing
A bank that has many clients who seem to need suspicious amounts of cash. Poor Rush was strong armed and duped into receiving amounts under 10K instead of going to an ATM like the rest of us....

poor fellow was tricked.

I am sure there was no illicit activity being funded with this cash. I personally need a few thousand in cash a week for Big Macs and Big Gulps.

I LOVE how "Mr. Rule of Law" preaches integrity, while drowning in his own vice.
