TV addict wants to sue cable company

Cable TV made a West Bend man addicted to TV, caused his wife to be overweight and his kids to be lazy, he says.

And he’s threatening to sue the cable company.

Timothy Dumouchel of West Bend wants $5,000 or three computers, and a lifetime supply of free Internet service from Charter Communications to settle what he says will be a small claims suit.

Dumouchel blames Charter for his TV addiction, his wife’s 50-pound weight gain and his children’s being “lazy channel surfers,” according to a Fond du Lac police report.

1. Not only should this be thrown out of court

This guy should be fined for wasting the court's time.

2. This guy should have his children taken away and put in decent homes

and the judge shuold sentence him to work.

Though I have to say I feel very sad for this sorry man, whose life is, I shold surmise, really quite miserable and terrible.

But, he brought his laziness and weight problem, and his children's, on himself.

maybe, if we're lucky, the udge will realize the man's sad emotional and psychological state, and either offer him free counseling, or force him into it anyway. He does need some counseling, IMO.
