I am SO sick of turning on c-span |
|
and seeing yet another "panel" of "experts" critiquing the DemocRAT's strategy, poll numbers, chances in the GE , etc..
The "experts" are Wattenburg..Schneider and some woman from the AEI..
Are there ANY "experts" in OUR party?? Does c-span know about them?? Do they even CARE???
This is about the 4th one of these "hatchet jobs" that I have seen this week.. The woman talking now is actually going along with the "WMD "were" there and just "haven't been found yet"...blah..blah..blah.. and how the war was "justified" even IF none were ever found..
They present themselves as oh-so moderate, yet they are practically reading from Uncle Karl's handbook..
:grr:
I have written c-span so many times, they probably have me on "permanent ignore"..:(
I have also called the DNC and they don't seem to see this stuff as anyting to worry about..

Every time I turn on any cable news I see a Republican shill covering the race...
I don't remember Democrats covering the 00 primaries with comparisons to dogshows and such...
Total fucking joke.

2. I think c-span is pretty fair but,,,,, |

I do get sick of the business you speak of. I would like to see some Dem do the same for the Bush run. I will say this, it keeps Bush off and Dem on. That may be good in the long run.

It's not like any of the ones that get on TV anywhere really have a clue. They haven't gotten any of it right in about six or seven years except for the obvious, the horserace aspect. None of the Beltway 'experts' has any meaningful grasp of the Democratic electorate or its trends in substance and numbers. It astonishes them every single friggin' time that Democratic voters don't behave like Republican ones.

4. When TV made me sick I switched it off. |

C-span is funded by cable corps. There is an agenda there. The good news is that the cable "news channels" only have an average audience of 3 million combined in primetime. I am sure C-span is far less.
The broadcast network newscasts that everyone can see, have about 18 million viewers. It is hard to be biased in 20 minutes.

It's easy to be biased in 20 minutes. It depends on what you show.

5. Washington Journal seems to be overrun |

by freepers.
Weyrich, Kristol, you name it. If not them, then some Bushite policy type. Or a reporter from a right wing rag.

that as being the reason....IF.... it had not been for the fact that all during the DEMOCRATIC administration , we had the SAME people on all the time..except that then they were just on to "present the other side"(and to trash Clinton every opportunity they got)..
It's the fact that we NEVER get OUR turn.. I would not want every show to be "Bash Bush", but fair is fair.. Every time a dem is on , there is a "counterbalance", but the repubes blather on and on for HOURS.. It's so blatantly unfair..and they are still our best source for information.. Frustration to the nth degree :(:(
