If Hannity is this dumb, how thick are his listeners?
I tuned in last night just to see how long it would take for him to say something moronic. It wasn't a full minute before he was blaming the blackout on liberals who oppose more nukes, more oil drilling, and "won't let us cut down a tree."
If Hannity's car blew a gasket, he'd think he was out of gas. There are millions of dimwits nodding in sage agreement with this dickhead. Cheers! :puke:

1. You can have all the energy in the world
but if there's not the capacity to get it to the consumer, what good is it?

4. You hit the nail on the head
this wasn't about production, it was about delivery. Plus the fact that since de-regulation no one has been doing the maintenance on the grid

6. Tree Huggers stopping Powerline Construct?
Not all of them. Where I live many Winger types oppose construction of powerlines through their area. It seems if a person owns their land they can rip the hell out of it -- ATVs, Gun ranges, big second homes, log, rip, rape. Powerline? Hell NO! It will kill the natural beauty of my land of junked cars, feral cats and empty pesticide containers.

2. Just watch
Somehow the administration will turn this into another "drill for oil in the Nat'l parks" campaign.

I wonder if anybody will be stupid enough to believe it this time?

5. I am surprised
Hannity did not try to blame this on Clinton--he does for everything else.
He has the weakest arguments of all the GOP cheerleaders on the radio. Rarely is there any substance to his arguments. Some of the Conservative radio guys , like G. Gordon Liddy (I actually like G. Gordon--don't shoot me) actually have original thoughts and have a good deal of knowledge about issues. Some are just lunatics like Michael Savage. But Hannity has nothing but shouting down opposing viewpoints. He has a few key arguments

"These mean spirited attacks on the President."
"Clinton said this (insert Clinton quote)."
"The Democrats are playing politics."
"They are on the wrong side of history."
"You just hate this country (or this President)."
"If you had your way, those mass graves would still be being filled."

8. You forgot his...
unbridled, irrational hatred of Hillary. The woman could find the cure for cancer and Hannity would find a way to criticize her for it.

is prone to be thick for a number of reasons: personal values, lack of intelligence, fear of others, envy, etc.

10. Hamnity is too smart to be a cheerleader...
but he is anyway. The people that listen to him are fools because they have to have someone make opinions for them and have the opinoinos spoonfed to them. But these people are the type of people that vote. But they aren't smart enough to think for themselves. Sad.
