or more accepting than we are? I haven't been on this board long (took a long time to find someone to agree with!) but it does sometimes seems as though you get pretty well trashed if you don't go with the prevailing winds.

I registered twice over there and managed to get only 2 or 3 posts before I got banned. My first posts were "Bush is a stud and a god" and was allowed to stay. My second or third post would usually be a reasoned position that ran counter to the prevailing "thought," at which I would get banned. No warning..just banned.

As a Student of language I have observed, "Fascist" is one word that is often mis-used relying on the negative connetations associated with the feeling, but this feeling is often not in keeping with the real meaning or definition of the word.
Merriam Websters definition of:
FASCIST = a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

I believe that advancements in civilizations only come through analysis of the stated beliefs of the ruling class.

Sorry, to question the party line, but for growth to occur, inquiring minds will always seek the means to evaluate and determine the truth.

Can't say much good about them, but I bet I know a number of people who have tendencies in this direction, but are able to conceal it.

I have some crazy friends with whom I can not agree with concerning matters of politics or religeon - so I steer clear of certain topics.

I'd say freepers are sadly misguided.
