CNN poll--is Bush doing a good job
At http://www.cnn.com there is a poll asking if Bush is doing a good job. Earlier in the day slightly over 50% said no, but now the trend has been reversed. There has been major freeper action on the poll. I know these things aren't really that important, not scientific, etc., but I just feel it would be remiss of me not to mention the poll, in case some of you want to vote and help reverse the trend.

3. The practice of "freeping" polls...
...is a deliberate attempt, by means of fraud and deceit, to misrepresent the views of a population. It is undemocratic and a betrayal of "American principles" by its very nature. Those that "freep" polls should be ashamed of themselves. What would be the motivation behind deliberately lying and committing fraud to misrepresent the views of sample populations? Could it be that they realize that their misbeggoten hateful crap is a minority position, and thus, like a true corporate socialist versed in propaganda, they hope to give the appearance of popular support by putting all their most vocal jackboots in the front row?

4. Multiple votes are dishonest, but we get the vote out as much as they...
I always hit the "vote" links and click. Only once, though. "Freeping" as I understand it is just getting the Freepers out to vote on a specific poll. We do the same thing.

If they ARE registering multiple votes, I totally agree with you.

6. Maybe a little of both
I don't know what the "official" definition of Freeping is. I suspected that it was just what you said. But I did also read on another board that some people create a "macro" or a simple computer program that votes, deletes cookies, closes browser, opens browser, votes and repeats. Not saying that no Dems would ever do *that* either, just pointing out what I heard.

I got a message that the page couldn't be found. Does this mean the poll is over? Dang. I missed it.
