Gov. Bill Owens in trouble? |
|
I just heard a rumor from friends in Denver that Bill Owens' divorce in progress is getting a bit messy. A pregnant nanny is in the stew. Anyone else heard anything about this?

How dare they get those righteous, god-fearing men in trouble with them:(
The real issue here is that he's a "youthful" governor, and it's just a "playful indiscretion"..:)

3. I don't mean to be cryptic, but... |

let it suffice to say that I am aware of some info circulating-- which the print and television media seems terrified to touch. Your "facts" are not totally correct, but somewhat on track.
Seems that locally, the press is willing to give a REPUG a total pass.
I am extremely conflicted about the whole thing, to be honest with you. He has young kids and I really, really, really hate the witchhunt that was launched on Clinton's personal life. Nonetheless, this level of hypocrisy is appalling and should probably be exposed.

4. Clinton was not the first |

to suffer the humiliation of being caught with this pants down. He happens to be one who survived the scandel. More than likely it was because he was not acting out of character. There have been many others not so lucky. Individuals who have put themselves up on the proverbial ivory towers get and deserve the long fall. This is what I think most irritates the right wing. The point you make about the press not wanting to touch the issue brings up a problem much more serious than who is doing who. We all know who controls the printed press in Denver and who butters their bread. The freedoms we have granted to the press, I am afraid, have been sold to the highest bidder. We have just as much chance seeing the Denver media investigate this matter than one of major consequence.

And I DO know that at least some of the press has had information come their way on this issue. No way would television media cover it. Obviously not the Rocky Mtn News and Denver POst is only slightly less hogtied. That would about leave Westword and I doubt anyone would pay any attention to it even if they did.
Since, Owens is positioning himself to be a future "contender," I do think it should come out, given his reliance on the religious right to give him cover for everything he does. Anyone know how to contact/ interst Larry Flynt?

if the media is withholding this info, it should be exposed.
someone should scream to the high heavens.
Owens is a smarmy, lying Repug scum and an awful governor.
