What were they thinking?
Edited on Thu Jul-24-08 08:01 AM by screembloodymurder
Ford's new Flex is an insult to good design. How can we compete or even stay afloat, with Neanderthals running the ship? http://www.fordvehicles.com/crossovers/flex/?searchid=426441|28124900|205370171

1. Wow, what a cool car! Nice and boxy looking. Not exactly inspirational.
I wonder who they think is going to rush out and buy it?

2. My two young sons have a number of Hot Wheels cars that look just like that
And they never play with them.

4. Ironic, my car is a 2006 Scion xA RS 3.0

I always thought the xB did look like a box and the kind of car that Chief Inspector Clouseau might drive, but there are people that love them and that is why Toyota still makes the xB and not the xA.

7. There are other model cars that look somewhat like the xA.
It is a peppy micro car that gets good gas mileage. There's a lot of room up front and since I am the only one in the car 99% of the time I keep the rear seats folded down do there is a lot of room for storage. My car is badged #1047 out of 2100 made of the RS 3.0.

8. Ugh. That car was built for cruising teenagers
and nothing else. It's ugly and with a high center of gravity that will land it on its back if it ever leaves a paved road...or tries to negotiate a sharp turn at speed even on the best road.

Why do they always photograph those things at road kill level? I will never understand why the adolescent male finds that appealing.
