Capitalism Hits the Fan: A Marxian View
http://vimeo.com/1962208

Main points:

1) Worker income and consumerism increased from 1820 to 1970, from 1970 consumerism has been based on stagnant and decreasing income plus grazily increasing debt.

2) Regulation (been there done that) does not work, regulation that does not democratize economy is self-destructive

3) Proposal: democratizing economy, ie. collective self-governance of and by the workers.

4. Yes, that's how I figured out
(almost at the end) how to hear him. {lol}

He said he'd gone and given the talk many places ... I think I'll see if someone in one of the Universities here would like to have him come in. I'd love to hear him in person. He's the type of professor that would bring me into class every single day.
