Economic high ground
I am incredulous.

Somehow rightists are slipping their constraints of their horrific record when it comes to economic theory. Other than Jack Kemp's demise, no one appears to be blaming rightists for their "supply-side" sophistry. Sickeningly, rightists seem to have shifted smoothly from their tax cuts for the rich idiocy into "fiscal conservatism." They're even brazenly trying to evade accountability by dusting off the "Bush was a Liberal" meme, among their various and sundry bag of straw man arguments and ad hominems.

They only just drove us to the brink of the Republican Great Depression II, so how do they get away with not taking the blame? Their dumbass "economic ideas" and hypocrisy should and must be their weakest position. They don't deserve to recover, or to have any credibility on the subject of economic policy. They deserve only to be crushed and muted until such time as they can actually use real logic and real reason. I am sure that they will never be able to use real logic and real reason, but I can live with the fact that their stupid movement conservatism is crushed and muted permanently, by rightful rejection and scorn. I'm willing to make that sacrifice.

We have to keep the economic high ground. The stakes here are enormous. We know where they would take us and we cannot let them deprive us of any more of our prosperity with their true desired outcome: concentration of wealth.
