3. There's no reason for this I can find. It's the first earnings call maybe that's
it.

5. Ruby Tuesday...
...had coupons and promotions going on during the past few months. When you bought one
meal, you got one free.

I'm sure this stimulated sales.

I've always wondered how coupons and incentives like this affect profits. I'm sure coupons
like this get people in the door and drive sales. However, the company takes a profit hit
to get those people in the door.

Applebee's is doing a similar BOGO coupon right now. I've also noticed that certain grocery-
store items have really wild coupon/promotions going on. For example, there were $1.50 any
Kellogg's cereal coupons in the newspaper. Last week, Kellogg's cereal was on sale for $1.66
at one of our local grocery stores. Great deals like this are aplenty right now. Seems
like name-brand products, which are more expensive, are fighting harder to get those sales.

Again...this must affect profits.

6. RT earnings rose 3.7%

Ruby Tuesday's fiscal fourth-quarter earnings rose 3.7% as the company continued to keep a lid on costs and slowed the pace of same-store sales declines. The company also offered fiscal 2010 earnings guidance roughly in line with Wall Street expectations, but the restaurateur warned operating margins may tighten. Shares climbed 9.6% to $8.11 in late trading as results topped analysts' projections.

Ruby Tuesday was all the way down to 91 cents in March

It's up 10% in after hours now....$8.10 a share.....
