Bank partners with Wal-Mart
"Since October, National Commerce, the $22 billion-asset bank based in Memphis, Tenn., that owns CCB, has been reviewing a trial program to co-brand its financial services with Wal-Mart.
The program builds on the bank's already successful relationship with the retailer. It has had banks inside some Wal-Marts for six years, said William R. Reed Jr., president and CEO of National Commerce. In October, the banks became known as Wal-Mart Money Centers in 16 stores in Georgia and Tennessee. If the Money Center program goes well, the idea could spread to other locations throughout the Southeast, including North Carolina, Reed said."

More expansion by an overgrown business destroyer, I just canceled my account with CCB.
