Wells Fargo CA is paying for new retail customers
The teller told me this AM, they will pay $25 for each friend/family that I send them to open an account. Presumably a DEPOSIT account, not a LENDING account since everyone knows WF doesn't lend.

Struck me as interesting, since I've been with the same entity since they were Bank of CA, First Interstate and now WF. Never did this before. Apparently thte 'Move Your Money Campaign' is making a noticeable dent.

5. Actually, it's just a small checking account...
Due to timings of some online payments and a very small balance, I won't be able to move until May.

But I've opened a Credit Union account for outside income and cancelled by LOC...

7. $25? That's nothing
I have a credit card with B of A (only used it for a balance transfer at 0% interest for a year, and paid it off in full) and they offered me a hundred bucks for setting up a checking account with them.

I'd rather gamble my money away on sports bets!
