http://forum.noslaves.com/index.php?act=ST&f=15&t=145

"There needs to be an uprising of the American people, particularly working men and women, that we are not going to tolerate the United States government creating subsidized incentives for firms to leave our country." - Senator Bob
Graham, 05.05.04 Lou Dobbs Interview

Read what this bill will do and write your congress representatives to
defeat it!

4. He should hammer this issue big time.
He needs to come with a stronger plan than just removing incentives for corporations to move jobs offshore. He needs to come up with a plan for penalizing them for doing it. These companies don't care about what country they are in, they need to be reminded.

6. Hmm...
I wonder if our progressive European brethren spend this kind of money subsidizing outsourcing? Surely they must penalize this sort of activity heavily?

7. Europe is outsourcing
They are and people are up in arms about it. Europe in general
has a safety net in place for anyone fired, strong labor laws,
and universal or some sort of health care not tied to employment.

For example, in Finland, everyone and I mean everyone is in the
union. Both white collar and blue collar. So a corporation
just can't fire a Finn and replace them with a H1-1B, etc.

And no way are Finnish corporations even going to consider screwing
their own for it's a socialist country, just a different value system...
on the other hand a Finnish corporation would have no problems
screwing the Americans they employ.

Still, engineers in Europe are seriously up in arms about what's going
on and there is an underground movement building to stop it. The German
chancellor announced outsourcing is "unpatriotic" and there is movement.
