What's most Important to you?

Is it just your freedom or your life or your memories of all your friends or just your wanting to understand why no one cares about your opinion...

DU (slang/ folklore) Glossary (Dictionary): http://DUG.SeattleActivist.org/
Index of WMD Articles: http://WMD.SeattleActivist.org/

Here are some excellent resources and timelines of quotes and interviews and newspaper article quotes documenting the different things Bush and Co did and said for the last two plus years concerning the war in Iraq and WMDs (and other fun things) from the Howard Dean Website---even if you're not a Dean Fan, these are still excellent resources:

Niger-Uranium Timeline:

Bush and WMD: Assumptions vs. Reality:

3. Okay I liked the glossary
Edited on Mon Jul-14-03 08:20 PM by jafap
but I am bored by WMD. JR should be emininently nailable on the economy alone.

I see that no one cares about my opinion since of the ten billion names we have for JR - JR itself did not make the list. Well, at least I have three dogs here who are very interested in my position vis-a-vis the biscuit issue.

Here's why I like to call him JR
1) He has the same name as his dad, except that he's one Herbert
short of a Hoover
2) He is rich
3) He is nominally a Texas oilman
4) He is very, very evil

All of these the tens of millions of Dallas viewers should be reminded that he has in common with JR Ewing.

4. Thanx...

I had to stop somewhere. You have no idea how many submissions people have sent me for inclusion into the Glossary and a lot of those are different names people have sent me for Bush*. What ever number you imagine, square it, and then tke that number and cube it.

In short, it is alot, but JR is a good one too. The problem is can it stand by it's own. Can you put it in a subject line and people know who you mean? In short, how many other people out there are called JR?

I've put a checkmark next to the other JR submissions I have received and this'll tell me (when I get to it) that more than one person submitted it which gives it more credibility in the long run. But before I get to it, I have a million zillion other things to do first. Sorry.

Also, I think healthcare should be in the mix also, but everything about Bush's incompetence should be attacked and often

Anyway thanx again for your kind words,

Dave (AmyStrange.com)

7. JR vs Jr
I guess it is hard to put in writing. In speaking, I could say Jay-Arr, which is what I mean by JR. Not saying it as "junior" or Jr. Millions of TV viewers already know JR Ewing as a rich, evil, Texan, so dubbing Bush as JR Bush, might help them to see the similarities. At least it is more of an intentional slur than "W".

for me learning is the big thing. I'm always curious about something. But it leans toward the philosophical rather than the finite. Math doesn't do much for me.

6. I tend towards the philosophical also...

rather than the absolute. Nothing is cut and dried and there is a ton of grey area out there and you just can't ignore.
