WASHINGTON: India will get a meagre US $95 million in foreign aid from the United States compared to a whopping over US $700 million for Pakistan of which US $300 million is for military assistance.
The provisions have been made in the US $19.4 billion foreign aid bill passed by the US house of representatives on Thursday by 270 to 132 votes.
Economic aid to Pakistan was supposed to be US $300 million- the same amount as for military aid-but, with additions from various heads, it comes to more than US $400 million, taking the total for the next financial year to over US $700 million.
-One more paragraph (that will knock your socks off)-
So, over the next five years we've promised Pakistan 5 billion dollars????? This is on top of excusing the debt of $493 million? Hell, that's way better than the people of the US are getting from our own government. And look how much is going for military aid. Pakistan could probably get this much from Dr. Kahn's nuclear weapons yard sale.
