and that is only for OUR galaxy. Needs to be multiplied by the
number of galaxies for Ng for the number of intelligent life
forms capable of inter-galactic communication (assuming that
a life form capable of inter stellar is also capable of
inter-galactic communication). And, of course, we are finding out
that fp is MUCH larger than previously thought (that's the number
of stars that have planets).
