Federal permits cost nothing to produce up to 10,000 gallons of ethanol/year. I haven't heard back yet from the Missouri Department of Agriculture on what permits might be involved/cost. Looking to re-establish a small, old farmplace into an organic permaculture centered around an ethanol distillery.
URLs, books, any State/Federal guidance/assistance, etc. are needed for planning--preferably regarding cellulose ethanol production, crop selection, practices, equipment--in short, anyone who has been researching this topic, please weigh in. Thanks.

2. Thanks. Too bad people don't get the history of alcohol distillation |

taught to them. It doesn't have to be all doom and gloom peak oil bullshit, but it's spectacular theater with spectacular profits, and so on, and on.
Fuel alcohol is the energy answer.
