North Dakota's largest wind farm could be up and running soon

NEKOMA, N.D. (AP) North Dakota's largest wind farm could be up and running soon.

The Langdon Wind Energy Center has 106 turbines. It's being built by Florida-based F-P-L Energy.

...

It's just outside Nekoma, near an anti-ballistic missile site that was abandoned in the 1970s. Nekoma is about 13 miles south of Langdon.

...

The state Public Service Commission says 21 other wind projects are in various stages of planning and development in North Dakota.
