What's the best way to dispose of /recycle VHS tapes? |
|
Most of my videos have been replaced with DVD. The legitimately purchased movies in good shape, I'll donate, but I have a lot of junk and porn I just want to trash.

3. Bulk-erase them and give them to a charity |
|
They can package a box of 20 and sell it for $5.
I have close to 200 tapes with recorded TV shows, some 20 years old. Nearly all of it can be purchased as DVDs, and I'm slowly recreating my collection. The tapes will be bulk-erased at a local recording studio -- they'll usually do it for free as long as it's for charity.
