In answering a question on SFRC hearings, I found this link to a video of a hearing that Senator Menendez led in January on what happened at Bali. I thought some here might want to listen to it as it did show that many of the Republicans on that committee are moving in the direction of being convinced they need to do things. It is also clear that China is beginning to move in the right direction as well. I know that proposals that can now pass the Senate will be labeled "too little, too late" by many here, but it does seem to me that there has been a major shift that may lead (with a Democrat or even McCain- heaven forbid - as President) to the US leading. I looked back through the 20 pages and could not find this covered here.
