Solar Power Lights Up Park

By STEVE NEWBORN
ST. PETERSBURG (2008-05-27) The switch was flipped on what is being described a the next wave in solar technology. What is being billed as the nation's first Sustainable Electrical Energy Delivery System, was developed jointly by Progress Energy Florida and the University of South Florida.

1. Oh good. More point source pollution left in the hands of the public.
We'll just pile this with the rest of the crap that people dump in their trash pretending that the act of dumping makes it go away.

2. What to do with uranium mining waste and 750,000 tonnes of depleted uranium hexafluoride
sitting in corroding casks at US uranium enrichment facilities???

Should we "just pile this with the rest of the crap that people dump in their trash pretending that the act of dumping makes it go away."
