Global warming threatens U.S. national security, study finds
Global warming is likely to provoke more illegal immigration, destabilize governments and increase terrorism, says a report by the U.S. National Intelligence Council.

The report, commissioned by NIC last year at the request of the House and Senate intelligence panels, paints a grim but not unfamiliar picture of ways climate change might threaten U.S. security in the next 20 years.

1. Well, duh! Although I think the Bushies see this as a benefit to their plans.
The quicker the destabilization, the quicker the Bushies can "turn the key in the ignition" and bring the Legal Nazi-like Police State they have created with their laws, but hasn't yet appeared in Amerikans' daily lives becausethe laws are not yet being enforced.
