Making us all think about how much energy we waste, personally, on a daily basis.

What makes it sad is that it takes a financial impact to make this happen. It's all about the $$, none about the social/environmental awareness and responsibility.

It hurts those the most who can least afford it in the first place :(

"Americans experiment with common sense".

I've always been amazed at how many people put up with long commutes. It's so bad for quality of life, in multiple ways. Time wasted, stress, money wasted on gasoline. Life is too short.

Insulation was always a great buy, even before energy started getting expensive. There ought to be tax incentives for upgrading insulation.
