1. The light rail is only running until 11pm....
Not late enough for those who want to use it to get home after drinking.

No, actually that's a good point. Halting service at 11 reduces the usability for some demographics.

4. And with budget problems, they're not likely to extend the time later.
They want to start early in the morning for commuters but from what I'm hearing ridership isn't all that good so far.
When gas prices go back up I'm sure more people will use light rail.
I might use it to go to baseball games this year and avoid the parking hassles near the ballpark.

6. That accident with the pickup truck last week wasn't awesome PR.
Hopefully that's just the result of people not yet used to driving around an operating light rail.
