Recently I noted that a huge and important piece of the thread I've been maintaining here, "EU study of external costs of energy: What you pay with your flesh," the entire set of posts by Treepig on the subject of radiobiology, have been removed.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=115x5609Treepig hasn't been around here for some time, possibly because he got fed up, but I personally thought highly of him when he was writing here.
The deletion of his posts, about which I have asked the administrators, makes me sort of wonder about my own future here. We'll see. I will stop doing the hard work I've been doing on that thread until I understand this case. (I have copied what still exists to my hard drive.)
In any case, in tribute to what Treepig said, whatever the reason for the removal, I am compelled to repeat what Galileo is said to have muttered under his breath when he was forced by the Pope to recant on the notion that the solar system had a heliocentric structure: "Still it moves..."
