upcoming Hudson River conference . . .
KEEPING OUR HEADS ABOVE WATER:
PROTECTING FRESH WATER FOR THE FUTURE

Saturday, November 22, 8:30am to 3pm

State of Mid-Hudson Fresh Water. What supplies
do we have? What are the demands? The threats?

Conference sponsored by Mohonk Consultations and Hudson
River Sloop Clearwater at Mohonk Mountain House, New Paltz.

Morning workshops include:
Can Local Governments Protect Their Water Resources for the
Future? How can Citizens and Groups be Pro-Active in
Protecting Water?

Afternoon in depth presentations:
Neighborhood Water Stewardship Program; Watershed Protection
through Intermunicipal Agreements; Local Education and
Action to Protect the Environment; Using technology to
understand the language of water professionals.

Cost: $30 ($15 students/seniors)
Includes registration, refreshments, light lunch.
