McConnell says GOP willing to compromise on energy
In a speech to the Heritage foundation he mentioned clean coal and nucular energy as possible areas of cooperation. It's going to be a long 2 years.

2. "compromise" ... likely defined as "abject surrendering to Republican agenda
by Obama."

3. Hell its been a long 2 days.
I dread the insanity and worry that this will be even more damage to us as a society and possibly wider damages.

We will continue our own evil plans of energy efficiency with the eye to at least 90% or more of our own juice, be it solar heat/water/pv or wood stove.

It has been a long time since I cooked on wood, but I could manage with some practice. I also plan to build a solar oven/furnace too.
I look forward to the day when I can call up the power co and tell them to come cut the cord. For the foreseeable future I guess its a gasoline car though.
I ll keep touting efficient use of resources from recycling to not buying disposable plastic stuff.

4. "Big Oil" has lost credibility with the US public
BP's Gulf of Mexico Blow Out.
BP Lap Dog Joe Barton's defense of BP
Valero-Tesoro's "Prop 23" ran behind Carly Fiorina in CA.

When you get past the Tea Party crowd -- "Big Oil" has no credibility!
