Christie (R- Dumbass -NJ) and global warming - What's driving his skepticism?

So, in light of those comments and actions, how do we interpret the governor's recent statement about global warming?

Asked about it at a town meeting, Christie said, "I'm skeptical. I'd be honest with you, I don't know. And it's probably one of the reasons why I became a lawyer and not a doctor, or an educator or a scientist. Because I can't figure this stuff out. But I would say at this point, that has to be proven and I'm a little bit skeptical."

Can you say "moran"?

:D

1. He is pandering to the know nothings...
It's pretty obvious that he thinks he is running for president.

3. The GOP in New Jersey - like the GOP here in PA - gets lots of money
from the energy companies, especially natural gas and coal companies. I doubt if Mr. Christy has any real opinions on anything - he says what he is paid to say, as is our new republican governor of PA, highly paid by the natural gas industry here...

Christy IS the model for the NEW REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR!!! and I have no doubt he wants to be president.

of skepticism must be prologned to protect Business Interests.

Very simple. Who has the potential for having to make the
most changes if we were to move toward correcting Global
Warming???? Business.

Who is the party of Big Business??? GOP

They must be skeptical or deniers in order to protect
Business.

6. What's driving the "skepticism" is people saying we'll work out the problems.
Be it through blind faith in some entities coming to save us, or be it in deluded hubris for technologies that have yet to prove themselves.
