3. bbc last night interviewed a reporter on his roof top..

he was fully prepared for at least a two-three day stay. he said there were several others that he could see living on their rooftops.
he was describing cars and other large stuff floating by by his house. he could hear and feel his car banging around in the garage.
he also said the surge was`t going to crest for another day or two.

from what i gather this would be the equivalent of a flood taking out many of the suburbs of chicago before hitting the heart of the city.

5. Here's a video of what happened to one parking lot

and it's amazing to see how fast the water rose up. Imagine watching this happening to your car, one idiot knowing how to do the right thing and getting out.
