work for an environment firm. I had to type reports for geologists and hydrogeologists. We worked on petrolejum spills because they're easier (like any of it's easy) to get out of the ground than most of them. But you have to stop and think what happens when these dumps occur. The crap not only pollutes the ground, it seeps into the water table and travels. IT IS NOT AT ALL A MINOR THING. And the life that resides in the water. Well, it's just like human beings living in a site contaminated by radiation. It all dies, or becomes horribly ill.

So sorry for your lovely BC. I think that's now my all time favorite photoshop. Is it photoshop? Penguins I've known usually use steel rulers.
