exclude food and energy prices. So the PTB get to claim all is well in Whoville.

3. The regular price of fresh fruits at our supermarkets are three times the cost these fruits were in

season just two-three years ago, i.e., peaches $1.99 vs $.67. But since Americans don't really need to eat fruits, this tripling in price doesn't really affect inflation. :shrug: :patriot:
