Wow, oil is 84/bbl?
I haven't seen it that low in a long while.

Of course we are paying 4.06 / gallon here...When oil goes up, gas spikes. When oil goes down, gas...stays the same for some reason.

1. Gas prices have been a bit odd here this week
in St. Louis. Did the usual Tuesday PM/Wednesday AM increase by 20 cents, then dropped back the same day by roughly the same amount and a couple of stations dropped off by another 20 cents on Thursday.

It's been a little goofy.

4. imagine being the person that filled up at that 20c increase before it dropped!
man would i be mad!! it never goes down that much. i've seen it go up 10c in a day. usually if i had waited to get gas and then came back through it was the raised price.

49% or something?

Well, it seems the oil-up, gas-spikes, oil-down, gas-...stays-the-same reason should be quite obvious, and it's called gaging, or squeezing, or taking-advantage-of-consumer-hostages, or other similar qualifiers.

3. This still makes the Palins very happy. As long as oil is higher than 65/barrel, they make $$.
